Matt ''Starman'' Morrison is an American graphic literature critic, web comic writer and essayist. One of the most prolific authors in the field of graphic literature criticism, Morrison's writing has been continuously published by a variety of magazines since 1999. His work has been praised and promoted by professional creators such as Gail Simone, Paul Cornell, Geoff Johns, Marc Guggenheim and Neil Gaiman.
In the past, Mr. Morrison has written for Fanzing, 411 Mania and Comics Nexus. He was a contributing writer for the web-comic 144 Anima and a guest writer for DerangedComics.com. Mr. Morrison has also served as an Expert In Residence for a seminar on Graphic Novels and Comics for Youth and Adults at the University of North Texas' School of Information Sciences.
Today, Mr. Morrison writes for the pop culture news site KABOOOOOM! and No Flying No Tights - a website devoted toward scholarly reviews of comic books and anime aimed at parents and educators. Morrison also has a personal website - My Geeky Geeky Ways - where he writes about all of his nerdy interests and maintains an episode guide for the television series Arrow. |
