Games and Theory Group Captain Cole "JediCole" Houston is pleased to introduce the Game Show track for All-Con 2014. With a variety of returning shows (including some new incarnations) you can expect plenty of fun and great prizes as we celebrate the ninth anniversary of game shows at All-Con! This first Game Show Spotlight should whet your appetite for what is in store at your favorite convention.

Don't Lose Your Geek Card
All-Con's longest running game show returns with four distinct incarnations! Three contestants vie for great prizes in variations of this popular quiz show. Each contestant has three Geek Cards to stake against right answers to themed trivia questions. One card is lost for every wrong answer, but points are gained for every right answer. Some questions even give the contestant answering the question right an Bonus Card (which acts as an extra Geek Card) or a special prize. Loose all three of your Geek Cards and you are out of the game. Rack up the most points from correct answers and Geek Cards maintained and you win the star prize!

DLYGC Classic Edition - The original version of this show features trivia from movies, television, comic books, and pretty much any other sources you can imagine. The winner receives their choice of one of a variety of prizes.

DLYGC Hey Kids, Comics! Edition - The hosts of The JediCole Universe's weekly podcast offer up comic book based trivia to challenge the most avid fan and collector. The winner receives their choice of one of a variety of prizes.

DLYGC Sadistically Difficult Disney Trivia Edition - The devious Disney mavens of the United States of Geekdom's sister podcast, Rediscovering the Magic, have cooked up a whole new batch of the most sinister and seemingly impossible Disney trivia. The winner receives Pop Vinyl figurines of Mickey Mouse and Oswald Rabbit.

DLYGC Star Wars Edition - Star Wars questions ruled the day at last year's Mostly Star Wars edition, so this year JediCole goes all-in with a universe of trivia from that galaxy far, far away. This edition is presented by "The Ratncor Pit" hosts Cole Houston and Eddie Medina. The winner receives their choice of one of a variety of prizes.

DLYGC 80's Cartoon Girl Power Edition - New for 2014! From Jemm to Rainbow Brite to She-Ra and beyond, this special edition features nostalgic trivia on the power girls of a bygone era. The winner receives their choice of a Pop Vinyl My Little Pony figurine or a Pop Vinyl She-Ra figurine.

New for 2014! Inspired by the audience at last year's Don't Lose Your Geek Card Mostly Star Wars Edition, this unique show allows everyone in the audience to be a contestant! Instead of one big star prize, over two dozen small prizes are up for grabs when everyone attending has a chance to answer trivia from a variety of sources.

Geek Match Game 2014
It was the first game show ever produced at All-Con! Way back in 2006 this trail-blazing show opened the door for what would become Games and Theory. And it's back! Join all of the All-Con guests we can finagle and some of our Artist Alley favorites as two contestants try to match the stars! The winner takes home a trophy and a their choice of a special prize.

Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog will be showing in All-Con's "Oak Ballroom" at the convention hotel on Friday March 14th at 9pm.

If you aren't able to make that showing, the United States of Geekdom has obtained a public performance license for a second showing!

The next morning (Saturday) at 10am the film will be shown again in the "Addison" projection room, giving you two opportunities to sing along with Dr. Horrible's beloved blog.

Addisyn Madd is a one man army and social wrecking crew tearing his way through the southwest, armed with only songs made of angst ridden macabre melodies. Rumored to be a myth, there are no recordings of his sound or existence officially and his plague of information has only been spread by word of mouth as well as sightings across the from Texas to the Emerald city. ALL-CON 2014: What Should We Choose To Do?

July 14, 2013   The night before the convention opens the Oak Ballroom has traditionally featured a community activity / competition to get everybody excited for All-Con to get started. 2012/2013 saw the introduction of BUZZED OFF, a talent show not unlike the classic Gong Show... sans J.P. Morgan on the judging panel. Now that All-Con has been expanded to four days, Buzzed Off is the Thursday night feature event. 2014 marks the first year with four full days of All-Con. That leaves Wednesday night for the pre-con event. We're looking for ideas to develop into the next pre-con event. Send your ideas or concepts to us for consideration.

Guys like girls who can hold their own in a blaster fight, who enjoys dancing like a Twi'lek, and who will disguise themselves as a bounty hunter in order to save their man. If you can find Registration where you pick your badges up, you've found Neither Noir! More space, better lighting, and lots of fun!
