This panel focuses on the under-representation and misrepresentation of minority groups in sci-fi, fantasy, comics, and animation. We'll be discussing the male gaze, white-washing, slash fanfiction, and more and explore how they impact minority fans. We encourage people of all ages to be aware of these issues, but we will not hold back in our discussions so this is not a panel for those who will be uncomfortable with hot topics.
