  Entries and Rules: Model and Diorama entries are accepted between 9am and 7pm on Friday, between 9am and 7pm on Saturday, and Sunday from 9am until 11am. There are NO exceptions to these hours. Convention attendees may enter up to 1 model or diorama per day of convention membership. (1 day pass = 1 model, 3 day pass = 3 models). Additional models or dioramas entered above the calculated amount allowed will each be subject to a $5 entry fee. Any Model or Diorama entered must be built and painted by the modeler entering the contest. No electricity will be provided for any kit entered. The modeler must provide their own power for any kit needing same and said kit must be approved by the contest coordinator to assure safety regulations are met. Any model entered that has sound bytes/chips must be made known to the contest coordinator and directions to turn off must be shown to the contest staff. All entries will be photographed for promotion of future competitions. The decisions of the judges are final.... no protests will be heard. Any violations of the rules set forth will result in a disqualification without refund of the entry fee. Anyone disqualified for any reason may be prohibited from entering any future contest at All-Con. Judging: Judging will take place on Sunday at noon. Judges will take into consideration the following, but not limited to: Seams, Paint, Lettering, Decals, Complexity, Details / Realism. Dioramas will also be judged on relative scale and depiction of moment. Display: All models and dioramas entered will be placed on display from the time of entry until the end of the convention. The display room will be open the same hours as those for entry registration. No access will be granted to the display room for any reason before or after hours. Categories: Figures Science Fiction Military Vehicles Dioramas Beyond Kit Kids Competition (12 and under) All Category winners and Best of Show will receive trophies. Digital Photography of category winners, winning entries, and convention celebrity judges. Disclaimer: The convention and it's sponsors are not responsible for any kit lost, stolen, or damaged entries during the course of the contest. Model pick up time will be AFTER the 1:30 awards ceremony, no exceptions. All entries must be picked up before 5:00pm Sunday. Any models not picked up by 5:00 Sunday wil be disposed of. Anyone picking up entries must show proper identification before being allowed to take their model or diorama.
