Outside the time spent on daily life, he devotes many, many hours to recreating the movie's costumes and props to a ridiculous level of award-winning detail. While some recurring con-goers may see him in other character cosplays from 1980s pop culture, to many he will always be Marty. And he could think of no higher compliment than that.
