In the ancient times, before the days of the Old Republic, deep in the deserts of Savareen was the birth of the Cactus Jedi. A sentient plant with the ability to use the Force to draw life giving water from the very air. At first there was only one that could use this power. Through time and patience, it soon became a small gathering of plants. While all of the Cactus Jedi worked together to bring water to the group, one particular plant became greedy. It wanted all of the water for only itself. It didn't care that the other plants could die.

From the greed grew anger at having to share water with others. From that anger grew hatred that the others even existed. None of the other plants deserved the water. It only belonged to one. Thriving on that anger and that hatred, the plant twisted the Force for its own evil bidding and thus, the Succulent Sith was born.
