BOOK SWAP!

Rated: Everyone

ALL-CON and some of our literary content partners spent the latter part of 2024 collecting gently used current / modern titles, in preparation for our first year of what we envision to be an annual Book Swap feature! For the most part we are looking for a 1:1 swap or 2:1 swap (in your favor) for popular or appropriate titles. We will also have a selection of books where if you didn't bring one to trade you can choose from the stack. Likewise, if you have some books gathering dust and taking up shelf (or box!) space that could go to good and loving homes we are also accepting book donations. If you have some time at the convention and are looking for a little bit of quiet, the Book Swap room (Pecan) is also designated to be a quiet / reading room. Sometimes your choice of ''over 300 events'' is to settle in with a good book and enjoy some peace reading at a convention.

How My Art Saved My Sanity!

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: TokuTruck

A short presentation followed by an open discussion with audience members. One of the issues for neurodivergent people is that we often feel things very deeply but aren't able to express it in words. Sometimes you can't find the words, other times it seems like too much effort, and this can result in isolation and even depression. But art is a good way to get those feelings out into the open! Maybe you can't talk about it, but you can make a picture or a sculpture! Creativity and art are not limited to fine arts. Con goers are a creative community, designing costumes and writing fan fiction, as well as developing games and crafting products for sale. Many of us are also neurodivergent. ATTA will share several stories from members about how our art impacts our mental health, followed by feedback and questions from the audience.

Each night at midnight ALL-CON volunteers gather at the upper balcony and rain loot down upon the attendees below.

There are several mini-drops of small toys and plush animals.

The main ''drop'' is the most challenging for both the volunteer and the receiver. It involves 800 balloons being individually dropped, each with one to three prize items inside. The receiver must decide whether to hold the balloon (inflated) in order to continue trying to catch more, or take the time to pop it and retrieve the prize(s) in order to be less encumbered to catch more balloons. Volunteers have to try to throw a wobbly, light, prize-laden balloon accurately enough to possibly hit someone with it below them.

Miniature Golf

Rated: Everyone

Hole-in-One Miniature Golf, every day at ALL-CON.

When researching indoor golf courses, we learned about two different philosophies: ''Pro Putter'' (complexity of layout) and ''Obstacle'' (complexity of ornamentation). We designed a hybrid with a little bit of each.

Each of the ten-plus holes is built on a sixteen foot long green, some with an additional eight foot dogleg which just means they aren't just a single straight green.

In addition to the miniature golf course there also is a ''Pool Golf'' game. It's the same rules as shooting pool but with putters and golf balls. Three ball in the corner pocket!

What better way to practice social distancing with your friends than to spread out on our indoor mini golf course, located right in the spacious new convention space at the Hilton Lincoln Centre! You don't even have to leave the convention. Catch a round or two in between panels or to relax before the Cosplay competition.

Putters and balls will be disinfected in between players.

Try it out! Miniature Golf is now one of our new feature events. It's just one more way we continue to make ALL-CON ''Your Favorite Con.''

The Return of the Dollar Store Cosplay Challenge: 30 Days, 30 Dollars

Rated: Everyone

Produced By: Five Sided Fates

Think you can build an entire cosplay on a dollar-store budget? The Dollar Store Cosplay Challenge is back!

Contestants get 30 days and 30 dollars to create a costume using items that cost $1 or less each. No reusing your old closet cosplay pieces.

Participants will document their builds with receipts and process photos, then show off their masterpieces in a live runway presentation and judging panel at AllCon 2026. Spectators are encouraged to attend the runway show for laughs, cheers, and inspiration for their own next low budget masterpiece.

You have 30 days and 30 dollars to make a costume. Can you do it? Contestants will compete to create the most creative, convincing, or hilarious cosplay made entirely from items that cost $1 or less. They will bring receipts, photos, and their finished costumes to show off live on stage. Join us for this fun and chaotic runway event that proves you do not need a big budget to have a big imagination.
