The Taffeta Darling has been an original persona in the Dallas community since 2009. Starting off as a pinup model, she has transitioned to a full time costumer and media persona. She was nominated and won Sam Johnson's coveted Fan Babe of the Year for 2010, and was a top three finalist in the ''Hot Rods and Heels'' Texas Pin-Up Model of the Year for 2011.

Leaving no medium unchecked, Taffeta is a co-host of the Dallas videocast The Delol Show, and most recently started hosting and producing her own show on Deep Ellum On Air network, titled ''Fangirls:

Dames of the Round Table'', Texas' very first all female videocast round table of fandom. Taffeta has also contributed to The Non-Productive Network, Aint It Cool News, Forces of Geek, Sofa King

News and Boomstick Comics bringing her opinions on the world of geek from a female point of view in which she reviews video games, comics, books, movies, conventions and other pop culture stuffs.

Taffeta continues to inspire her local scene with her unique and original costumes. She proves that women don't have to wear revealing costumes for recognition. She's an 80s baby and usually creates and wears costumes from this decade. She feels strongly about only wearing costumes of characters that she is familiar with, instead of wearing costumes that are popular with the crowd but with little knowledge.

Back in 'the day' we started selling ConCritters - small stuffed animals wearing convention logo'ed t-shirts. Since then the critters have been retired, but the selection of ALL-CON merchandise has grown!
